The Smart-Fly SuperReg is ideal for aircraft with large servo count, even those with eight 8711 servos. All power input and output connectors are Deans Ultra Plugs to handle the high currents the SuperReg is capable of. The unit is will handle 7.5A continuous current but can handle peak currents in excess of 15A. The unit has dual battery inputs for redundancy and has a built-in BatShare to balance battery draw and prevent a bad battery pack from affect a good pack. It is meant to be used with 2-cell Li-ion or Li-Poly packs. It features adjustable voltage output from approximately 5.1V to 6.4V. The SuperReg is a perfect match with our PowerExpanders when a less expensive solution than our PowerSystems is desired. It supports the use of an optional failsafe switch.
