Power Grunt Hobbies have been involved in all forms of radio control since the late 1980’s when we first started scratch building planes from plans and designing our own models,  which has always been a great interest of ours.
1996 was when our interest in radio controlled helicopters started and at the time not that easy to fly. We stuck with it and with practice and persistence now enjoy the 3D style flying which has taken off all over the country.
During 1998 we started building and flying ducted fan jets having wanted that extra speed and performance. We have built kits like the Trim Spectre, Saab Viggen, A4 Skyhawkbefore stepping into Turbine jets in 2001, which since then we have built the Fiber Classics Kangaroo’s, Baby Boomerang, F-15 Eagle, F-18 Hornet, Yellow F-16.
We have also been racing radio controlled cars and competed in many club events at a top level throughout various clubs in Victoria.
Having spent so much time in the hobby over the years and not always being able to find what we needed, in 1997 we established Power Grunt Hobbies with the aim to specialize in radio controlled aircraft, helicopters and cars, and have since grown to also include trains, 1/12 scale miniatures and many more products.
